Norwegian e-commerce law (ehandelsloven § 8) requires a service provider to make this information easily, directly and permanently accessible. Stripe also checks for it when verifying an account.
Wayfare Studio sells research and design work: a set of alternative travel routes for a destination and dates you specify, delivered as a private website.
Wayfare Studio is not a travel agency or tour operator. I do not book flights, accommodation, transport, tours or insurance on your behalf. I do not hold, handle or forward any money intended for a travel provider. I am not a package-travel organiser within the meaning of the Norwegian Package Travel Act (pakkereiseloven), and buying research from me does not give you the protections that apply to a package holiday.
Every booking you make is a direct contract between you and that provider. Links to accommodation search results are provided for convenience only, are not recommendations of a specific property, and earn me no commission.
Prices are as shown on the pricing page at the time you accept a scope, in
euro (EUR). Norwegian clients may be invoiced in NOK on request. Payment is by card through Stripe; I never see or store your card details.
Invoices are due within 14 days unless stated otherwise. [If MVA-registered: prices are
shown excluding/including 25% Norwegian VAT — state which, and note that supplies to customers
outside Norway may be zero-rated.]
Accurate dates, budget and constraints, and any bookings already made. If material facts change after work has begun — different dates, a different destination, a booking I designed around that you then cancel — the work may need redoing, and I will tell you before doing it whether that is covered by your included revisions or needs a new quote.
Route Study includes one round of revisions; The Atlas includes two; Concierge includes revisions until you travel. A round means one consolidated set of changes, not an open-ended series.
I research carefully and check load-bearing facts against primary sources. But timetables, prices, opening hours, closures and weather all change, and some sources are simply wrong. Everything I deliver is information, not a guarantee. Verify anything you are relying on — especially transport connections and opening days — before you book or travel.
When the final invoice is paid, the delivered site and its contents are yours to use for your own travel, indefinitely, including offline. I keep the underlying research methods and any reusable components.
I would like to show your project as a public example. I will not do so without your explicit written permission, and if you agree I will remove your name, dates and any personal detail unless you say otherwise. Founding-client pricing is offered in exchange for that permission and for an honest testimonial; you may still decline after seeing the work, in which case the standard price applies.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer under Norwegian law. Subject to that, my total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount you paid me for it. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed transport, unavailable accommodation, cancelled services, or weather.
Norwegian law governs these terms, with Oslo tingrett as the ordinary venue. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EEA, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer rules of your own country. Consumers may complain to Forbrukertilsynet or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
If you are a consumer, Norwegian law (angrerettloven, implementing the EU Consumer Rights Directive) gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the contract is made.
To withdraw, email [hello@yourdomain] — a clear statement is enough, and you may use
the standard withdrawal form. I will refund you within 14 days of being told, using the same
payment method.
If the routes miss what you asked for, I got the brief wrong and the included revisions exist to fix it. If it still is not right after those revisions, I will refund you in full. Tell me within 14 days of delivery.
This does not cover a change of mind about the destination or dates after delivery, or a trip cancelled for reasons unrelated to my work.
If I cannot deliver — illness, or a destination I cannot research responsibly — you get a full refund of everything paid, promptly, and I will say so as early as I can.
